Imega Books has firm faith in the power of Word and Sound to stimulate the mind, embolden the heart and ignite the fires of positive action. To accomplish this, the Imega Books mission is to facilitate the powerful expressions of Rastafari and African Word and Sound through an online library of authentic works written by and about Mother Africa and her children's living experience.

It has been our desire, and that of many of our sisters to gain economic independence, so that we can spend more time with our families and build up our own communities. Imega Books aims to be an equitable channel through which the African writer can reach an expanding and eager audience. This will be accomplished through innovative use of technology, and purity of spirit.
